Mangere Raise Up Crew
The Mangere Raise Up Crew meets once a week every Thursday’s from 4pm-6pm at the Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Pool & Leisure Centre. The crew is made of youth from within the Mangere community, where they come together to create events and opportunities for youth and families within their local community.
We have a passionate crew who are keen on providing quality opportunities for our local youth community. We offer a variety of events and workshops including Youth pool parties and youth open mic-where youth come together to share their talents whether it be through singing, spoken word poetry, dance etc…
Every Tuesday’s from 4pm-6pm we run our weekly #AKLPLAY Social Sport sessions in our stadium, as well as every fortnight on a Friday from 6pm-8.30pm we have social sports session with youth from Otara, Clendon and Papatoetoe where we bring our youth together for a night of sports activities.
