Terms and Conditions
- You must be between the ages of 13 and 18 years and attending High School to enter the competition. Models must also be aged between 13 and 18 years.
- Entry is limited to one design per designer.
- Entries close 30 June 2023
- The top 85 designs will be selected to enter the show from all the entries received.
- If selected, an entry fee of $50 will apply and can be paid via internet banking to YMCA North Shore. This fee includes one General Admission ticket to the Walk the Line Show (part of NZ Fashion Week) for the designer to attend. If the designer is also the model, this ticket can be gifted to a friend or family member.
- You must attend both the Dress Rehearsal and the Fashion Show, in Auckland.
- All garments must be completed and ready for the Dress Rehearsal Saturday 19th August 2023.
- Pre-judging ensures all designs are in the right category and suitable for the show. We reserve the right to move your design to a more appropriate category.
- Decisions made by the Judges and the event management team are final.
- Designers will only be allowed backstage to prepare their model before the show. Hair and makeup are pre-planned by the event organisers.
- Music is selected and provided by the event organisers.
- Walk the Line is a drug, alcohol, vape and smoke-free event.
