Walk the Line

Terms and Conditions

* You must be between the ages of 13 and 18 years old, attending high school to enter the competition.

* You may model the garment yourself or invite a model to walk for you.

* Models must also be aged between 13 and 18 years.

* Designers may not model for another designer in the Walk the Line Show.

* Entry is limited to one design per student.

* Entries close 5pm Friday 26 June 2025.

* The top 60 designs will be selected to enter the show from all the entries received.

* If selected, an entry fee will apply.

* This fee will be collected at the Dress Rehearsal, cash or eftpos options available.

Entry Fee: $80 per designer

* Includes: Entry fee to Walk the Line Design Show,

x1 ticket to Walk the Line Show at NZFW

Digital copies of Walk the Line Show runaway photographs

* NZFW tickets are General Admission

* If the designer is also modelling the garment, this ticket may be gifted to a friend or family member

Pre-event Requirements - Saturday 8th August (TBC)

* If selected, it is compulsory for the designer and model to attend both the Dress Rehearsal and the Fashion Show.

* All garments MUST be completed and ready for the Dress Rehearsal Saturday 8th August, Auckland, venue to be confirmed.

* Pre-judging ensures all the garments are in the correct category and suitable for the Fashion Show.

* We reserve the right to move your design to a more appropriate category.

* Decisions made by the judges and the event management team are final.

Event Requirements - Saturday 22nd August (TBC) Shed 10, Auckland CBD

* Only designers and models are permitted backstage. If a designer has a model walking the garment they will be escorted to their seat prior to the show beginning.

* Hair and makeup are pre-planned by the event organisers.

* Music is selected and provided by the event organisers.

* Walk the Line is a drug, alcohol, smoke and vape free event.
