Supporting Young Designers since 2011

Raise Up has partnered with NZFW to create the biggest designer fashion show for youth in Aotearoa since 2011. Walk the Line provides a platform for young aspiring fashion designers, and many participants have utilised this to forge successful careers within the fashion industry.

For over a decade our young designers have been lighting up the runway at New Zealand Fashion Week, competing for the coveted title of ‘Supreme Designer of the Year’.

2025 Event Theme

Walk The Line is looking to showcase the power of youth voice on a global stage.

Each year, in consultation with young people, we choose a new theme to spark our designer's creativity. Our overall theme for 2025, "Timelessness" challenges our young designers to create a piece of fashion that will never age but always remain ‘in style’.

We are offering a unique opportunity for our designers to make their mark on the global stage through their own creative process. Our annual themes seek to draw out a response from the audience and to empower the next generation of change-makers within the fashion community.

Held at Shed 10 in Auckland CBD, 2025 saw Walk The Line back on the New Zealand Fashion Week runway. Featuring 60 of Aotearoa's up and coming young designers it was a show not to be missed and a highlight of the calendar year.
