Maungakiekie-Tāmaki youth urged to have their say

Maungakiekie-Tāmaki youth are being urged to have a say in issues affecting their local area by participating in an online survey organised by the Onehunga YMCA Raise Up youth crew.

The survey seeks youth perspective on issues such as public transport, employment opportunities, sport and recreational facilities and community and cultural connections.

Adam Brown-Rigg, a coordinator for the Onehunga YMCA Raise Up youth crew, says understanding local youth issues, interests and priorities is an important part of strengthening local communities.

Youth aged 13-18 are encouraged to complete the short survey by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/S5Z3WMJ. The survey is open now until mid March
