“Kia Ora, my name is Tyler and I am the co-ordinator of the Invercargill Raise Up Crew! 

As a passionate member of the Invercargill community, I’m here to make a difference. Having studied my Bachelor of Physical Education at the University of Otago, it was only fitting to come back home where all of my schooling was completed. I have worked for the YMCA for over a year, mainly in the youth development and sport and recreation teams. Here at YMCA South, we are passionate about getting our rangatahi active and providing opportunities for them to grow and develop skills in a city where the community is everything. 

Our Raise Up goal is to establish strong relationships within the community and make Raise Up a well-known program in Southland. I am willing to provide our rangatahi with a voice to be heard within the community of Invercargill while making this an incredibly positive experience for all involved. If you like to have fun, are open to learning, and want to make friends come and join the crew!!”
