Raise Up has arrived in Ōtautahi!
The Christchurch crew meet on Mondays from 4 pm-6 pm to plan events, participate in workshops, and hang out together.
Joining the crew is an awesome opportunity to develop your skills as a leader, make some new friends, and run epic events. Here at the Y Christchurch, we have heaps of cool spaces, and heaps of tech, and we’re right in the middle of the city!
Let’s make cool things happen. Our crew is all about empowering young people and spreading the love in our community while having heaps of fun ourselves.

Welcome to the Ōtautahi Raise Up Crew! My name’s Brittany and I am the coordinator for Christchurch. I was raised right here in the 03 but I have spent lots of time living and working overseas.
Things you gotta know about me: I love reading, photography, hiking, movie nights, and my family. I do not like eating coriander or really spicy food. I am also the godmother to a very cute dog who I talk about way too much!
I’m super passionate about working with young people and doing good in the community. My goal is to create a space here at Raise Up where all are welcome and heard. You will have the chance to develop your leadership skills, plan cool events for your friends, plus eat lots of free food!

The Raise Up Manurewa crew are running an Ice-Skating event at Botany Paradice Ice Skating rink for all youth ages 13-18!
Tickets are $10 per person.
Event runs from 7-9:30 pm on Friday the 19th of May!
