Want to get involved in your community? Raise Up is a group of up to 20 young people who are passionate about doing good in there community and creating awesome ways for young people to come together and have some fun.

Kia Ora,
My name is Leela and I am the coordinator of the Whau Crew!
A little bit about me: I am English, French, and Swiss by nationality but I grew up in South India and then moved to the Netherlands where I studied International Justice and Comparative Criminal Law. During and after this time I gained experience working with youth by joining various youth organisations and services in different parts of the world. Now I am in New Zealand and I am excited to be given the opportunity through Raise Up to continue working in the field I am most passionate about.
In my free time I love being outdoors, often go on trips usually to the beach, do lots of sports, enjoy cooking, take time for myself, and spend time with people who make me laugh.
If you are new to Raise Up and are curious about what we do, I welcome you to reach out! Raise Up gives young people an opportunity to form new connections, be part of a community, have safe spaces, organise events, and grow as individuals. There is a place for everyone and we look forward to bringing you on board!
